
Children's entertainment business Fairies & Themes was established in January 1995 by husband and wife team Caroline and Duncan Heeris. Fairy Queen Caroline is the principal character of the company, which is based in Perth , Western Australia.
Caroline's extensive early childhood education expertise, combined with her on-stage natural beauty and performing talents, has made the Fairy Queen Caroline character one of Perth 's most sought after children's entertainers.
Performances include the City of Perth 's annual Christmas Pageant and Australia Day Celebrations; the Perth Royal Show; and the City of Rockingham 's New Year's Eve Party.

Weaving her own very special magic, Fairy Queen Caroline has hosted multitudes of extra special birthday parties and visited countless schools in the metro area.
Fairy Queen Caroline's annual ‘Picnic in the Park' attracts thousands of people each year, plus a substantial amount of media attention. The 2005 picnic on January 20th was deemed ‘the best ever!!'
In 2001 Fairies & Themes released the illustrated read-along
gift book ‘Fairy Queen Caroline of Lillybrook. This was followed
by the completion of a compilation CD ‘Songs of Lillybrook' and
a musical stage show. All have proved to be popular amongst young
and old alike.
In 2003 Fairies & Themes management teamed with international production house ‘Imaginites ' to produce ‘Lillybrook' – a 24 minute motion picture quality television pilot, which tells the story of a lost magic crystal and fairy friends working together to save the day!
Filmed locally at Perth's botanical golf gardens, and directed by Michael Garcia, this delightful production is filled with song & dance and is peppered with special effects guaranteed to delight and enchant little fairies & pixies under eight.
In 2005, Fairy Queen Caroline is in the pre-production phase of developing the first 12 episodes of her television series.
The first Lillybrook DVD has been edited for sale and includes an additional 60 minutes of bonus children's animation. It is available in good DVD stores, or via Fairies & Themes by order over the Internet or telephone. |
